Poster presentations are an important presentation format aimed at creating an interactive scientific discussion environment between researchers and participants. Poster sessions offer a suitable scientific platform, particularly for sharing ongoing research, pilot studies, and practice examples.
Abstracts accepted as posters will be presented in poster sessions designated in the congress program.
Evaluation of Poster Abstracts
Poster abstracts are subject to the same scientific evaluation process as oral presentations. In the evaluation process, the scientific quality and contribution to the field of the studies are taken as the basis.
The following criteria are considered in the evaluation:
- Scientific quality of the study
- Clarity of the research purpose
- Methodological appropriateness
- Findings or expected contribution
- Alignment with the congress theme
- Academic writing quality
The Scientific Committee may redirect some abstracts to the poster presentation format based on the evaluation results.
Poster Presentation Process
Studies accepted as posters will be presented in poster sessions on the dates and times specified in the congress program. Poster sessions will be planned to allow direct interaction with participants.
At least one author is expected to be present at the poster during the poster presentation.
Poster Format
Poster dimensions, design guidelines, and technical details will be announced on the website along with the congress program announcement.
Poster Award
Based on the evaluation conducted by the Scientific Committee, a Best Poster Award may be given among the poster presentations found to be successful.
Important Notes
- Studies that do not present their poster may be removed from the program.
- Posters must be displayed for the duration specified in the congress program.
