Welcome to UÖEK2026

The 36th National Special Education Congress is an important scientific platform that aims to discuss the relationship between international scientific trends in the field of special education and the realities of practice in Turkey. This congress, which continues the strong academic accumulation and discussion tradition established by previous National Special Education Congresses, aims to evaluate current developments in the field from a critical and multi-dimensional perspective.

At the congress, fundamental topics in special education such as evidence-based practices, inclusive education processes, individualized education programs, transition services, quality of life, system-level support structures, teacher competencies, and digital transformation will be addressed within the framework of global trends and national practices.

The 36th National Special Education Congress aims to bring together academics, teachers, researchers, and graduate students to strengthen scientific knowledge sharing, support the connection between research and practice, and lay the groundwork for new collaborations that will contribute to the development of the field of special education.

We look forward to being with you at our congress...
